Data Recovery Myths – Logic Board and Platter Replacement
RecoverySoft / April 19, 2018

While many parts of your computer can be replaced to bring it back to normal, the myth that your hard drive recovery can be as simple as replacing certain components is only partially true. If you’ve experienced a crash, then you can understand the desperation many people go through when trying to find a cheap solution to recover the data. Even though the logic board replacement and platter fix solution is not free, some people attempt to have this service done to save lost data and recover important files on their hard disk. First, it’s been reported that efficient clean rooms cost companies hundreds of thousands of dollars. It’s safe to say that your local hardware component technician does not have the available funds to provide a clean room for their customers. The first error in this myth is that whoever claims to be able to fix hard drives likely does not open them in a safe, uncontaminated room like they should do. While you may consider this a viable fix for your broken drive, consider our article on clean room and its specification before attempting to have the platters or logic board replaced. Now, there are several refurbished sites…

RAID Data Recovery – How It Works
RecoverySoft / April 16, 2018

RAID data recovery is probably one of the most complex processes any data recovery firm can perform. More often than not, the problems are compounded by the actions of the client prior to sending the drives in for recovery. Many users feel that it is important to try and recover the data themselves or repair the array through various system utilities, and this may be fine if the data is not critical. However, it has been our experience that when you have a RAID failure that has resolved in substantial data loss, more often than not, somebody's job is on the line if that data is not recovered. The largest piece of advise this article can provide in the event of a RAID failure: LEAVE IT ALONE. IT professionals have a lot of pressure placed on them when a catastrophic system failure occurs. It is their job to make sure that all systems are up and running. Many times, out of panic, troubleshooting processes are initiated in order to correct the problem. Often times these processes only make a bad situation even worse, and in many instances they can render the data unrecoverable. Let's keep in mind what this data…

If you are just having standard, boring sex then you are really missing out on the real orgasmic pleasures of true mind blowing sex. If you want to experience awesome orgasms, you just need to follow these 3 sex skills: 1. Long Lasting Sex. This must be mentioned first because it’s a HUGE reason why women, and men, experience either no orgasms at all, or else very lousy and weak orgasms. Obviously this most often falls on the man. The man needs to learn to last long during sex and not experience the ever so common problem of premature ejaculation. This is a sex skill you simply have to learn if you want to give your partner incredible orgasms. And if you are suffering from premature ejaculation then your own orgasm is WEAK. Quick ejaculation orgasms are simply not as strong as those which take longer to achieve. In order to last long during sex you have to learn some physical exercises and some mental breathing techniques to calm the mind and not get it overexcited (which is…

If You Don’t Suffer From Hangovers, You Should be Worried

It may come as a surprise to you that your body is working at its best. Your entire system has gone into action to rid itself of toxins and it is only when you drink heavily but do not get a hangover you should be concerned. The symptoms of a hangover are essentially the product of dehydration, it means you kidneys are working properly. In a healthy body, alcohol causes a decrease in the anti-diuretic hormone (ADH) that is produced in the pituitary gland at the base of the brain. How Do I Recover Data from a Damaged Hard Disk? Part 2
RecoverySoft / March 28, 2018

What the heck is disk imaging and how can it help us recover our hard disk data? I have no idea. Just kidding! I know. I'm a pro at this. Basically just think of it as taking a snapshot of the data you want to recover. You then draw from scratch some more data after you go back and fix all the internal damage to the file system. After this is done, you still may not be 100% back to normal, but you should at least get some of your data back. What tools do we need for this? Use a DOS tool like HDClone and that should do the trick. Most of the time you can recover data from all the non-physical parts of the hard disk. Some studies have been done with an open source program called DCFLdd on a Linux 2.4 Kernel system that actually screwed up the hard disk even more. And this is when the data was available and did not need to be recovered! So stick with DOS for now. Or if you have a friend in the FBI or police department, you could ask him to burn you a copy of ILook IXImager,…

Computer Forensics, Computer Crimes, and Data Recovery
RecoverySoft / March 24, 2018

Computer Forensics Computer forensics is the science of obtaining information from computers and digital media. This information is usually intended to be used as legal evidence. The aim of the computer forensic analyst is twofold. First, he or she must retrieve data from the computer discs and other digital media in question. Then the data must be stored. It must be stored in a manner that is safe and that allows the analyst to affirm that it was found on the original device. A computer forensics specialist must be expert in both the technology of data recovery and the legal aspects of evidence handling. Computer Crimes Computer forensics is a relatively new science. Before the 1980s, there were no personal computers and therefore no computer crimes. Now computers figure in a wide variety of illegal activity, both directly and in the form of an information storage medium. There are some crimes in which computers are directly involved. One of these is hacking into corporate and government websites. Hackers may try to obtain information like customer's credit card or bank account information. They may try to embarrass government agencies and prevent the access of citizens by shutting down websites or posting…

Can You Recover Lost Data?
RecoverySoft / March 14, 2018

In a nutshell, recovering data means that someone has to try to salvage inaccessible data from a corrupted or damaged storage site. Think computers and how they crash, sometimes inexplicably and you are suddenly left with nothing. That feeling of helplessness when your computer crashes leads you to an expert in data recovery. Sometimes they are successful and sometimes they aren’t but they are all trained in salvaging files from storage media like external hard disk drives, solid state drives, USB flash drives, CD’s, DVD’s, and magnetic tapes. Data recovery can be needed for different things, the most common is an operating system failure but computers can also be damaged by physical damage and things like tornadoes, flooding and hurricanes; things that are deemed ‘acts of God’. Then of course there is the good old virus or Trojan Horse that gets into the computer and renders it in need of quick and professional assistance. If you have the most common type of data recovery it will be because of an operating system failure and in that case the technician will try to get your files on to an other device. If you have a drive level failure and/or a compromised…
