Windows Password Reset – What to Do If You've Forgotten Your Windows Administrator Password
RecoverySoft / August 13, 2018

There are only two ways to regain access to your PC if you've forgotten your Windows Administrator password. The first is to reinstall Windows and totally wipe everything from your computer … and the second is to use a "password reset" program that will reset the password for you. Here's what to do: Method 1 – Reinstall Windows – If you've got nothing to lose from your computer, and have the knowledge to do it, you may wish to reinstall Windows to gain access to your PC again. The only problem with this method is that reinstalling Windows literally means you will lose every file and every piece of data on your PC. This is okay for some people and if you are interested in using this method, you simply need to insert the Windows disc into your PC, reboot your system and select "Boot From CD" in the BIOS options. If you do not understand how to do it, then you need to talk to a computer technician. Method 2 – Use Password Reset Software – The most common way to restore access to your PC is to "reset" the Administrator password for your system by using a piece…

Whether you have a standard vasectomy or a no scalpel vasectomy there will be a period of recovery. Granted a scalpel one has a longer recovery time and a little more discomfort than a no scalpel vasectomy, but there is still recovery time. The doctor will give you a set of instructions for what to do following your vasectomy and it is this that I would like to discuss. The mystery is actually a lot worse than the reality so brace yourself. Below is a typical list of things to do when recovering from a vasectomy. Your doctor may give you a slightly different list but the idea will be the same. 1. The doctor will tell you to stay off of your feet for a few days following the vasectomy procedure. For those of you that work from home, here is where you will benefit. You will just be asked to sit back on the couch and put your feet up. 2. To take the edge off of your vasectomy the doctor will prescribe you pain relievers and ask you to take them as needed. Trust me when you need one go ahead and take one. Nobody will have…

How To Permanently Delete Files?
RecoverySoft / June 10, 2018

To permanently delete a file it is not enough to press delete or to empty the recycle bin. Operating systems like Windows or Mac OS delete the file by marking it invisible and by releasing the disk space it was using. In fact, it is impossible to delete the file, you can only overwrite it with some other data. This basic principle of computer file system is used to undelete files. If we have, for example, accidentally deleted some file, we can recover it by using some undelete tool. If the data was not overwritten we can get the original file back as it was prior to deletion. For many computer users this behavior of files is not problematic. We don’t care what happens with the files after they are deleted. But there are cases when we care or at least we should care. When we would like to dump the old computer or donate it to somebody we don’t want to leave all the files on the disk. Deleting them or even formatting the disk does not solve the problem. With simple recovery tools it is possible to recover formatted partitions and deleted files. This is a problem because…

For many computer owners, getting the infamous Blue Screen of Death (or BSOD) can be a frustrating experience, and for most, one that doesn’t lead anywhere, since there is no clear indication as to what to do next. But it doesn’t need to be this way. With the right tools, the cause of a BSOD can quickly be determined, or at least we can be pointed in the right direction, saving us hours of blind troubleshooting. Enter The Small Memory Dump Windows has the capability of–upon a system crash–dumping certain information from memory onto a file stored in your computer’s hard drive. Some of the tidbits Windows writes to this dump file include the following: The Stop message (such as KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED or IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL). A list of drivers in use when the crash occurred. Information on what the CPU was doing when the crash occurred. What processes were running at the time. This information is written to a file with a DMP extension (for example, 082214-19328-01.dmp) and stored in C:WindowsMinidump. In order to complete a successful hard disk data recovery, it can either be a simple matter or an intricate one, and either expensive, or rather unreasonably expensive, depending on the severity of the problem. More often than not, the problems are compounded by the actions of the client prior to sending the drives in for recovery. Many users feel that it is important to try and recover the data themselves or repair the array through various system utilities, and this may be fine if the data is not critical. However, it has been our experience that when you have a RAID failure that has resolved in substantial data loss, more often than not, somebody's job is on the line if that data is not recovered. The largest piece of advise this article can provide in the event of a RAID failure: LEAVE IT ALONE. IT professionals have a lot of pressure placed on them when a catastrophic system failure occurs. It is their job to make sure that all systems are up and running. Many times, out of panic, troubleshooting processes are initiated in order to correct the problem. Often times these processes only make a bad situation even worse, and in many instances they can render the data unrecoverable. Let's keep in mind what this data…
