Whether you have a standard vasectomy or a no scalpel vasectomy there will be a period of recovery. Granted a scalpel one has a longer recovery time and a little more discomfort than a no scalpel vasectomy, but there is still recovery time. The doctor will give you a set of instructions for what to do following your vasectomy and it is this that I would like to discuss. The mystery is actually a lot worse than the reality so brace yourself. Below is a typical list of things to do when recovering from a vasectomy. Your doctor may give you a slightly different list but the idea will be the same. 1. The doctor will tell you to stay off of your feet for a few days following the vasectomy procedure. For those of you that work from home, here is where you will benefit. You will just be asked to sit back on the couch and put your feet up. 2. To take the edge off of your vasectomy the doctor will prescribe you pain relievers and ask you to take them as needed. Trust me when you need one go ahead and take one. Nobody will have…

Issues With External Hard Drive
RecoverySoft / July 11, 2018

An external hard drive can be described in simple terms as a hard drive that is portable, or one that can be transported around. Although this is a very simple definition of what an external drive is, the truth is that, it is pretty much the same as it is described above. However, we can be more specific by describing it as the portable version of the fixed hard disk, which comes with a USB casing that enables it to be used on various computers with the help of an USB cable. Other than the above given differences, there is no noticeable difference between a fixed hard drive and an external hard disk. We can confirm this due to the presence of various moving parts that are present both in a fixed disk and an external disk. The main purpose for which the external hard disk is used is also pretty much the same, which is data storage. However, in this case, the stored data can be transported along with the user and accessed on the computer of his choice. Some of the most common uses of the external disk are for storage of data, which usually eat up a…

Much like damage done to your computer via various natural disasters, insurance may cover the physical hardware, but no policy will be able to save the information stored on your hard drive and other physical media. Without some form of backup solution, your data is at risk every day. There…

Enhanced Oil Recovery, Secondary, and Tertiary Recovery
RecoverySoft / April 16, 2018

Did you know that much of the oil in the ground is still present after primary recovery? In the kings english, that means there is still a lot of oil left in a well even after 10 years of pumping. The reason oil production slows is that the natural drive that once pushed oil aggressively towards the wellbore has subsided. Normally, the natural drive is either water or gas in the formation. In this article, we look to explain some of the common enhanced or secondary / tertiary methods of oil recovery. With oil hitting new highs every day, it is clear the cost benefit of utilizing technology to get at extra production makes sense. When oil was in the $ 10-20 range, the incremental cost of some enhanced oil recovery methods did not make economic sense. One of the most common secondary recovery methods is a waterflood. Essentially, a waterflood is a reintroduction of water into the formation to create a drive to push more oil towards the wellbore. To increase the efficiency of a waterflood, new methods utilize Alkaline-Surfactant-Polymer floods and some explorers are introducing microbes into the wellbore to increase the sweep efficiency of the flood, both…
