How To Permanently Delete Files?
RecoverySoft / September 26, 2018

To permanently delete a file it is not enough to press delete or to empty the recycle bin. Operating systems like Windows or Mac OS delete the file by marking it invisible and by leaving the disk space it was using. In fact, it is impossible to delete the file, you can only overwrite it with some other data. This basic principle of computer file system is used to undelete files. If we have, for example, accidently deleted some file, we can recover it by using some undelete tool. If the data was not overwritten we can get the original file back as it was prior to deletion. For many computer users this behavior of files is not problematic. We do not care what happens with the files after they are deleted. But there are cases when we care or at least we should care. When we would like to dump the old computer or donate it to someone we do not want to leave all the files on the disk. Deleting them or even formatting the disk does not solve the problem. With simple recovery tools it is possible to recover formatted partitions and deleted files. This is a…

How to Retrieve Deleted Files Quickly
RecoverySoft / June 4, 2018

Have you ever deleted something and then instantly knew it was a mistake? Did you know that it is possible to retrieve deleted files? Many people already know that the first stop for a file is in the recycle bin. Maybe you did not know this, but it is very simple to locate your recycle bin and retrieve deleted files from it with a few clicks of your mouse. You simply need to minimize all open windows and programs so your desktop is visible. Now look for the recycle bin icon. Just double click on the icon for recycle bin. It will open, showing you all of your deleted files inside. Looking for your file, highlight it and right click it. You will then see a selection list of four separate choices. If you select “restore”, this will move your file back to its previous location. You can still retrieve deleted files that aren’t in the recycle bin anymore; however, this is a little bit more involved. Once a file is deleted from the bin, the operating system puts it back into free space on your hard drive. It does this by stripping all file extensions and then allocating that…

Create Computer Games – Get Started on Creating Your Own Virtual Worlds
RecoverySoft / April 28, 2018

I’ve always loved video games, ever since I first played them on a friend’s computer in the afternoon after elementary school. There’s something almost magical about the fact that we can move images around and interact with virtual worlds, a living fantasy presented for us to interact with however we please. I’ve also always wanted to make games myself but, until recently, didn’t have the technical knowledge to do so. Now, I’m a second year software engineering student, so if I weren’t able to code a game without too many dramas there’d be something drastically wrong. But what about the common person: the person for whom the term ‘memory leak’ conjures up images of their grandfather, ‘pipeline’ is where the water flows, and ‘blitting’ is unheard of? Well, everyone can get in on the game creation process, and you don’t even need to learn ‘real’ programming to do so. So where do games start? With an idea. Games, like all fiction, require an idea to be successful. Sure, in the same way you can just sit down and write a story without foresight, you can jump on in and slap a game together. However, unless you get ridiculously lucky, the…

Data Recovery And Hard Disk Information Retrieval – A Complete Review
RecoverySoft / April 14, 2018

Recently my hard drive crashed, hey I do not mean that windows decided to be bitchy and make me reinstall it – Anyways it's really been a long time since I've been idiot enough to run Microsoft programs, thanks very much! Well I mean that my hard drive, spinning away quietly at speed away irreverably, which all of a sudden emits a scratchy, screeching sound that can only be described as sickening, and immediately wiping out vast swathes of data like some primordial plague lord reaper scorching the continent of Europe with the bubonic. Sure this was one hellish experience, but nothing compared to the misery which began once I hired a hard disk data recovery service. As a techie patiently enlighten me over the phone, a hard disk data recovery is not always a simple or a clear-cut affair. In order to complete a successful hard disk data recovery, it can either be a simple matter or an intricate one, and either expensive, or rather unreasonably expensive, depending on the severity of the problem. At times the only problem is that something is not working with the loading mechanism of the hard drive. In fact there is more than…
