Steps to Install Active Directory on Windows XP or Later Versions

October 14, 2018

Are you a Windows XP user? Do you want to install Active Directory on your computer? Are you skeptical about installing the AD domain on your system all by yourself? AD needs to be installed manually on Windows XP, but it is not as difficult as it seems to be. The steps involved in installing the AD domain on Windows XP or later are so simple that even a child can carry out the whole procedure. It will take hardly a few minutes and you need not seek any help from a tech savvy person!

The control panel function for the Active Directory Users and Groups allows the system administrators to modify, delete, and add accounts on their respective network directories and hence, it is an inevitable tool for them. But note that this AD utility is installed on the Windows Server OS by default. Therefore, if you want to install Active Directory tool on Windows XP or the later versions, you must do it manually via the MMC (Microsoft Management Console).

So, if you are a user of Windows XP or later, here are the steps that you must follow to get the AD utility installed on your system –

Step 1: Once you have logged into your system as an administrator, go to the Start Menu and select ‘Run’.

Step.2: Key in ‘mmc’ in the Run dialog box that appears and hit ‘Enter’. This will launch the MMC utility on your system.

Step.3: In the top menu bar, select ‘File’ > ‘Add/Remove Snap-in’

Step 4: You will now be presented with a pop-up screen. Select ‘Add’ at the bottom of this window and go to the next step.

Step 5: Here, you will be presented with a list of all available tools. Mark the tool called ‘AD users and Computers’ and click ‘Add’.

Step 6: In the next window, select Close > OK

Step 7: To apply the new settings and install active directory, you must now reboot your system. Once the computer restarts, you can find the AD tool in the Control Panel, within the ‘Administrative Tools’ folder.

If you follow these steps carefully, you can get the AD domain installed very easily on Windows XP OS. Note that there are different steps that you must follow to create and configure active directory domains on different systems. So, make sure you are following the right steps for the right system. Moreover, there are a number of things that you must be prepared with before you go ahead with the AD installation on your system.

Thus, if you are well prepared before you install Active Directory and exercise due caution while following the given procedure, AD installation will be a cakewalk for you!

I truly believe in this ministry. I went through the program in Bartlesville Oklahoma in a church called humble road. God has forever changed my life through this program. It helped me deal with the guilt and shame cause by my addiction to methamphetamine and other things. But most importantly help me build a relationship with Jesus Christ. I will forever be grateful for Celebrate Recovery.

What a Crock! They have this program at my Church. We no longer serve Wine at communion because that would be too much of a temptation for the alcoholics! I’m addicted to food! And Water!

Are you trusting in a program, a man, a group, your works, or are you trusting in Jesus Christ alone. Only Christ, Who is the Word made flesh and God manifest in the flesh, can save you from your sins. When you accept Him, you are a new creature in Christ. The Bible says, " Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." This is biblical "recovery" that is worth celebrating! Read God's Word: the King James Bible. If you have accepted Christ Jesus, you have received God's Holy Spirit to guide and teach you. The BIble says, "“But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.” Abide in Christ, in His Word.

    For New Christians:

Rick Warren is a joke. Celebrate Recovery is a clique, a condescending clique, just like the rest of the so-called "Christian" church. I went to CR for years, and tried out different churches that hosted CR meetings. The people who lead these ministries are cruel frauds, and many of the people who attend are only addicted to being jerks.

Some of the people who attend CR have real issues and addictions. But, more often than not, I've listened to men and women complain about how hard it is to not cheat on their significant others. These people shouldn't be going to a CR meeting, but rather a BS meeting. If you truly want to stop cheating on your husband or wife, then STOP CHEATING! Infidelity isn't an addiction or a habit that you need to work at kicking! Its simply called being an asshole! Stop being an asshole! Stop treating those you pretend to love like shit! You don't need church to do that, you just need a soul!

This might surprise some people, but the core of the Sacrament of Confession is explicitly established by Christ himself in Scripture.

In the Gospel of John, after he has risen from the dead, Jesus appears to his disciples and this happens:

“Jesus said to them again, ‘Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you.’ And when he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them, ‘Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you withhold forgiveness from any, it is withheld.‘” (John 20.21-23)

Right there, Jesus explicitly gives his Apostles the power to give and withhold forgiveness of sins, which is the basis for the Sacrament of Confession. And the Church practiced this from the beginning.

The power of Confession depends entirely on the sacrifice of Christ. Christ earned infinite grace on the cross, and the Sacrament of Confession is one important way that grace is applied to an individual.

Celebrate Recovery changes my life daily. I am closer to God now, than ever before. I am not perfect but I am a work in progress. CR's tools can be used in every aspect of our lives— but first we have to admit WE have problems. It's not always everyone else's fault. At some point in time, we have to take responsibility for our own actions. Don't be mad when God points out things in your life that need to change. Be thankful He loves you enough to show them to you, so you can grow in Him and learn to be proud of your hurts, habits, and hang-ups. God chooses us because we are broken and willing to change. I am honored to be one of THOSE PEOPLE– all the disciples were THOSE PEOPLE.

Its softcover book $36.00 is sold for profit It has very designated leaders. You are very clearly told what to believe or to leave.. And they wont turn down cash donations The intro to the books judges (oops to they shalt not)Read it yourself. And degrades AA. I saw people show up under the influence (thats called addiction) And were told to leave or police would be called. They didnt want others to be tempted(by living in the real world) Or seeing reality? They drink in church Maybe CR people should avoid the temptation of church? AA can say non of the above. And a Hardcover book is $7.50 But AA rent money goes to the churchs they meet in.. Supports the church. That degrades them. I Got lots of help love support and encouragment in the church.. Its just to bad it was in the basement on a tuesday at an AA meeting when the church was closed. CR collapsed in Mercer county But I tried it until it did.

To all of the naysayers: Are you against Celebrate Recovery, or just the person in this video? I haven't even watched/listened to this entire video yet. I really don't know much, if anything about Rick Warren. His association with Celebrate Recovery had absolutely nothing to do with my attending the program in the first place. I went there because I needed to attend AA, NA and other groups and my CR group was part of my church. And it counted for two meetings to be signed on my card for probation! But now I go for so many more reasons. And I don't even know how to explain all of them. Yes, the 12 steps were written by man, not God. CR found biblical comparisons. Perhaps there are some others who could stand to do some research and investigating of their own before they speak. I am a part of Celebrate Recovery. I struggle with an incredible number of hurts, habits and hang-ups. Along with Celebrate Recovery, I have a mentor/sponsor. I attend AA several times a week. I have accountability partners. I attend church and have friends who I can discuss things that I have questions about, as well as family members. I have connections with Goodwill and the law enforcement system who I can go to if I ever need guidance or support. I attend mental health counseling weekly. Not only do I have an incredible support system, but I have a wide base and I check my resources. If I find any reason to doubt something, I check it out. I hate to admit it, but I'm not a good Christian because I'm always questioning things. Perhaps that's the scientist in me. But Celebrate Recovery is an awesome program. Don't knock it til you try it. You think you don't have a problem? You see, that's just it. There's your problem. Right there.

I am sad when some who call themselves "brothers in Christ" treat others like they are not. I doubt you have ever really investigated CR. I further doubt that you have been healed from a bitter spirit. Christ can do His work without CR, but after 15 years experience in CR, I have found the power of God which has transformed my life and brought me to Christ in a way that keeps on bringing other people to Christ to find healing for their lives. May you find real healing for your bitterness.

If all I had for recovery was CR I would probably be dead, but because of GOOD bible teaching I am a real believer. Not only am I free but I speak with new tongues, cast out demons, lay hands on the sick and they recover. Things warren probably doesn't believe in although God's word clearly says "These signs shall follow them who believe". Who said that? Jesus…..My website provides a program for real recovery free of charge.

  • TLPIC777 October 14, 2018 at 2:12 am

Amen transrider.Celebrate Recovery's "Spiritual Principle #1" which is "spiritual poverty" is heresy. We are "heirs of Christ" (Gal 4:7) and "blessed with every spiritual blessing (Eph 1:3) so we are not at all spiritually poor. Quite the opposite. Warren makes me sick. He also signed a Yale document saying Christians and Muslims serve the same God. More heresy. The Koran instructs muslims to kill us. Anyone remember 911? I
