Measuring food by cups and tablespoons can kill any low-deficit diet. It's not good enough.

I had discovered over the years that VO2 Max type work outs does more for weight lost then any other type of workouts. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vuIlsN32WaE

So, you are telling me I can have a particular FTP, but different abilities within that FTP. So is there anyway to tell where I am within my ftp for strengths? Maybe my endurance is good and I can hold Z2 for ever but my V02 is trash. or vs versa. Is there any way to test this?? How do I know what is just too many watts and whats a strength and weakness. I wish TR had 3-4 week plans so I could work on all fields so I could bring up the entire water level. Right now I am doing 3 weeks of sustain power 3 of critt. or that's the plan anyways.

On the subject of ski trips, one of our strongest local racers had a major breakthrough one year (2014 45-49 Cyclocross National Champion), when he incorporated skimo (ski mountaineering) into his winter training. Was it more fun? Was there some hidden benefit… glut work perhaps? Probably both and more.

This podcast is amazing, I love it. 5 stars all around. Just sayin, The Town of Breckenridge, CO generates $3-5 million per year dedicated to open space and trails. We have a dedicated 4-6 person professional trail crew. It's pretty awesome here.

I am doing battenkill grande fondo and starting this week with sweet spot 1-2

Then trying to figure out to go into:

General base or into the specialty phase

    I only have 19 weeks

My theory was just do sweet spot 1-2 and build phase or sustained phase

Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated

Sweet spot is a good strategy for triathlon(70.3/140.6)?
