Using System Restore To Recover Deleted Files
RecoverySoft / March 18, 2018

System restore is one of the best things Microsoft has produced when it comes to recovering deleted files. Unfortunately, not too many people know how to use it correctly. System restore's primary use is actually to help users remove programs that they find are interfering with the operations of the computer. When used properly, system restore will return the computer to its settings prior to the installation of the unwanted program. System restore is superior to uninstall because uninstalling a program does not always completely eradicate the errant program nor does it undo changes that have occurred in the computer. There is a possibility that these changes are the source of the problem. Disk Space Issues Yet it is also a great idea to set a system restore point on your computer in case files get deleted. However, it should be noted that system restore creates its own restore points so forgetful users will still benefit from it. Nonetheless, a system restore point should be added before installing certain programs and when important files have been saved. Restore does not affect saved word documents, emails or favorites so it can be used without trepidation. Restore is also reversible so if…

Recovery From Laser Vaporization of the Prostate
RecoverySoft / March 18, 2018

I left the hospital in a wheel chair after five PM, it was raining and I felt miserable. Getting into the car was a chore, because of the # 22 French Foley Catheter, here after I will call it "the bag". What follows are my personal memories of recovering from my first KTP laser surgery of the prostate. Taking my first shower after surgery, with the bag, was challenging. My clothes were loose fitting; her it was easy to remove my pants. As I was showering I had the urge to go. I finished the shower and sat on the toilet moving the bag and tube (from my penis) out of the way. This bowel movement was made very difficult because I had to strain, which caused blood to come out of my penis outside of the tube. The doctor said not to strain. He did not give me a stool softener to take a couple of days before the laser surgery. I guess it was not working. One thing that you should do is to take the stool softener three to four days prior to your surgery. After conquering the shower routine, I emptied the bag for the night….

RecoverySoft / March 18, 2018

The nightmare scenario where you have accidentally formatted a hard drive containing all of your valuable data is actually quite a common occurrence and is surprisingly easy to do by mistake (particularly if you have numerous drives attached to one PC). Thankfully the accidental formatting of your hard drive does not necessarily mean a death sentence for all of your important files (photos, music, documents etc). How is this possible you might ask yourself? – well this becomes obvious once you understand what happens to your data if you accidentally press the “format” button: Why Formatted Data Can Be Recovered When data is saved to a hard drive it is stored in available or “free” sectors, these sectors are then marked as “used” and the information relating to these sectors are stored in header tables which tells the hard drive where that data can be found for future use. When a file is deleted (or the drive formatted) then the header tables are deleted and the sectors containing that data are marked as “available”. What is important is that the original data is still present however it can no longer be found without the associated header table information and can…

Pain, Perseverance and Passion: Three Keys to Addiction Recovery
RecoverySoft / March 18, 2018

One of the most unmistakable traits of a successful person is a persevering spirit. The ability to persist in the midst of recurring pain, laughable odds, and past failures leaves its indelible mark upon the “hall of famers” in recovery. Without a persevering spirit, we flounder in the wake of the merciless sea of trials. That is not to say our lives will be without struggle. Difficulty is a part of life – integral to the fabric of our existence. However, our reaction to our struggles makes the difference between success or failure. To persevere is to embark on the path of victory. It is the foundation for recovery. It’s Not Over Eric Weihenmayer understood the importance of perseverance. He knew that giving up meant surrendering to defeat. Born with a rare disease, Eric was blind by the age of thirteen. As with anyone suffering from a handicap or illness, at first he felt discouraged, even bitter about his condition. After all, we’d all agree that it isn’t supposed to be this way. Children are not supposed to go blind. People are not supposed to die young. We are not supposed to have a terminal or debilitating illness. Somehow, we…

RecoverySoft / March 18, 2018

Hard Disk Drive Crash Take the case of computer systems. We become so used to working on the computer on a regular basis that we are rarely ready to face the consequences if things go wrong. This is truer of a computer hard disk drive crash than of anything else. Hard drive malfunction can be divided into two types: one is the so called Firmware Level malfunction that can be repaired using relating software or factory commands; the other one left is the Physical Level malfunction caused by physical hard drive components damage. As to the latter Physical Level crash, the typical case in data recovery practices is that the head crash and serious platter scratches caused by direct contact between the head and the platter surface; such drives manifest themselves as undetected, staying BUSY, besides an ominous scratching sound may start to emanate from the disk. Recover Files After Deletion – For Free!
RecoverySoft / March 18, 2018

Humans, true to their nature, will always make mistakes. That said, how much effect that mistake has on their daily routine depends on how quick that mistake is found out and rectified. And one of the main reasons that you lose data is through human error. Deleting a file (or even formatting even) is a fairly common occurrence and is not fatal mistake on its own. Deleted files by default will go to the recycle bin first and if you are missing any files, just check your recycle bin. However, the problem arises when you have emptied the recycle bin OR pressed (shift + del) to permanently delete the file (like I always do). When this happens, you have no way of retrieving the data through conventional methods. To get them back, you need special software, another computer, and loads of luck. Oh, and stop using the computer. You do not want to accidently overwrite the data and lose any chance of recovering data. Setup First you need to remove the hard disk (the one with the deleted data), connect it to another computer and set it as a secondary / slave drive. Why do you need to do this…

What is recovery from strenuous sports performance training about? People who exercise regularly and play sports often spend a lot of time preparing careful sports performance training programmes. These focus on positively building all the areas of fitness and technique important to the successful conduct of their favorite activity. Some enthusiastic runners, cyclists and triathletes plan their year’s activities around participation in races (marathon, triathlon, etc) or hoping to perform maximally at each race. In the haste to go faster and stronger, an important aspect of training is often neglected: sports recovery. From the experience of successful athletes though (particularly those in endurance sports) more time spent on sports recovery leads to improvement in the quality of sports performance training as well as optimal results in competition. What is Sports Recovery? Exercise at all levels of intensity acts to do one thing to the body: it depletes it. The depletion involves your energy stores (muscle glycogen, blood glucose and fat products in your blood), hormones, and muscle structures. In other words, you use up the body’s valuable resources as you exercise and something must be done to replace them. In order to return to training and to continue conditioning your…
