Can Qigong Help Stroke Recovery
RecoverySoft / August 3, 2018

A stroke occurs when blood supply to the brain is interrupted. The most common cause of stroke is a blockage of arms leading to the brain. Its effect will depend on which part of the brain is affected, and its severity. Stroke, also known as brain attack, happens rapidly and hence immediate treatment is very critical. People with stroke will usually feel weak suddenly, lose sensation, and have difficulty to talk, see or walk. The year of 1999 was definitely not a good one for Michael who is a businessman of age 61 at that time because a contract fell through and a client failed to pay him. Neverheless, he decided to put all these behind and traveled with his wife to celebrate the New Year of 2000 at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas. Waking up on the New Year's Day after a night's revelry, he felt something was not right. He found difficulty to do up his shirt and his leg would not work properly and he suspected he had suffered a stroke during his sleep. He did not want to be hospitalized away from home and family, so he pretended he had a leg injury and got on…

The Structural Integrity of Step Four Recovery
RecoverySoft / August 3, 2018

Countless experiences in life have demonstrated that my mind’s exposure to something does not necessarily enable me to understand, accept, or interpret it adequately on the first pass-nor the second, nor the third, nor, in some cases, the 25th. Take step four of the adult child recovery program, for instance. I have read it weekly for almost seven years and only recently was I able to glean from it what its purpose was-or at least what I understood it to be this time. I wonder why I was able to do so from a different or even the proper angle now. Two reasons come to mine. The next time I read it, maybe a third will. I cannot predict that. To access my memory, I can tell you that, at least in words and perhaps even theory, that it states that we make “a fearless and searching moral inventory of ourselves.” One of these concepts-namely, “fearless”-certainly explains why I could not understand the step’s value. I was not fearless! Indeed, fear, I have now realized, was one-if not the main-reason why I could not see it from a more positive angle. Targeted by and prayed upon by my para-alcoholic father,…

Windows Password Reset – What to Do If You've Forgotten Your Windows Administrator Password
RecoverySoft / August 3, 2018

There are only two ways to regain access to your PC if you've forgotten your Windows Administrator password. The first is to reinstall Windows and totally wipe everything from your computer … and the second is to use a "password reset" program that will reset the password for you. Here's what to do: Method 1 – Reinstall Windows – If you've got nothing to lose from your computer, and have the knowledge to do it, you may wish to reinstall Windows to gain access to your PC again. The only problem with this method is that reinstalling Windows literally means you will lose every file and every piece of data on your PC. This is okay for some people and if you are interested in using this method, you simply need to insert the Windows disc into your PC, reboot your system and select "Boot From CD" in the BIOS options. If you do not understand how to do it, then you need to talk to a computer technician. Method 2 – Use Password Reset Software – The most common way to restore access to your PC is to "reset" the Administrator password for your system by using a piece…

Challenging False Prophets
RecoverySoft / August 3, 2018

In person, Noam Chomsky, now 77, is soft-spoken and considerate, looking very much like what he has become — a respected elder statesman among the Western intellectual elite. Last year he topped the Prospect/Foreign Policy list of 100 global public intellectuals, beating out Richard Dawkins, Václav Havel and Salman Rushdie, among others. But this is an ironic honor because Chomsky is also in some respects the anti-intellectual’s intellectual, quick to argue that most other elites have prostituted themselves through what he describes as “service to power.” Chomsky has been a professor of linguistics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, Mass., for more than 50 years. In that time, he has managed to become doubly famous — first for his pioneering work in linguistics, which challenged behaviorism in psychology, and second for his well-publicized criticisms of American foreign policy. When asked about suitable role models for intellectuals today, Chomsky points beyond the chattering classes to the ancient Jewish prophets, including Jesus. This highlights something less known about Chomsky, who was born in Philadelphia to Jewish immigrants from Eastern Europe. While internationally famous as a critic of America’s involvement in Vietnam and Iraq, he does so in the role of…

Towing Services For Underwater Recovery
RecoverySoft / August 3, 2018

One of the worst things that could possibly happen to your car is for it to end up in a pond or lake. Usually when you think of a car being in the water, you think of movies that you have seen, and you figure the car is unrecoverable at this point. Most people can not imagine how difficult it can be to get a car that is submerged underwater back onto dry land, but there are actually companies that specialize in towing cars out of sticky, or in this case, wet situations. Obviously if your car finds itself fully underwater, the damage is more than likely going to be irreversible. With that being said, that does not mean the car stays submerged underwater. You have to find a towing company that has the knowledge and machinery to get your car out from underwater. You may be able to salvage parts from the car despite the accident, or maybe personal personalizations are in the car as it sits underwater, and you need to get them out as soon as possible. Another benefit towing companies with this expertise is for insurance companies to use. Most everyone on the road today has…

What Is the Recovery Time for Liposuction?
RecoverySoft / August 3, 2018

Liposuction is a surgical procedure done through tiny incisions to permanently remove any external fat that you may have in problem areas. Typically, the feeling you will have right after liposuction is a sensation of post-workout pain, or the muscle soreness and pain you may feel after extreme exercise. The areas of liposuction will feel sore and numb for several days after your procedure. After a few days, you will probably feel itching, burning, electrical shocks, and similar feelings in the areas of liposuction. This is good, because it means that the nerves supplying your skin are beginning to have less swelling and are starting to heal. After several weeks, you should have normal feelings in your skin in all areas of liposuction. Sometimes you may develop hardened soft tissue areas where you had liposuction. This may occur because you are wearing your post-surgery compression garment incorrectly, or your body may be trying to develop scar tissue in the areas of surgery. Often wearing your garment in a different fashion, or starting to massage that areas that are beginning to get harder, or both, will alleviate any asymmetry and scar tissue that is trying to form. Patients can usually get…

RecoverySoft / August 3, 2018

Stainless steel cookware is considered a good choice of cookware for the kitchen. It is the most popular cookware in North America. It is heavy-duty, durable, corrosive resistant and easy to maintain. However, it does get scratched if not being used and cared for properly which makes we wonder if it is safe using scratched stainless steel cookware. Configure Exchange E-Mail Server Reverse DNS and MX Records Correctly
RecoverySoft / August 3, 2018

If DNS is setup incorrectly, over time your mail server IP will be added to blacklists. Nowadays most E-Mail servers have some kind of spam protection service which in turn means that all your inbound mail will be blocked if you do happen to be listed on a spam blacklist. In this article I will describe how to correctly configure your MX and reverse DNS records for your mail server. This article is based on an Exchange 2003/2007 server but every other messaging server will follow the same principle. Assigning an IP address Starting from the bottom up the first thing you need to do is assign a static external IP address to the internal private address of your mail server. You will need to apply these rules on your firewall to port forward SMTP (port 25) and NAT an external IP address to the internal address of the server. Something that a lot of administrators forget to do or check is to set the outgoing NAT rule to use the same external IP address created for the inbound rule to the mail server. If this isn’t set, Reverse DNS will not match and in turn your mail server will…
